★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a 43” Samsung TV, a SONOS speaker and a Mount wall, around of $1500 via GEM. I had to go to the store on the next working day as the SONOS speaker was faulty, first they denied to take it back., had to explain them the fault several times to different people. They were supposed to give me the credit in my GEM and I was looking forward to buying some furniture and using this credit. This team was so incompetent that they didn’t know there is no credit, can be issued as it was a GEM purchase. I was thrown from this corner to that corner and wasted my time of 2 hrs. When the feedback was sent to the manager - he came up with a Covid excuse and stated that they were short staffed and not prepared to take the work load during the Easter holidays, but the fact is - their team didn’t know the difference of the basic invoices (general invoice and credit invoice). When gave an opinion to the manager that “ I will think once before visiting going forward” and got a shocking answer - he said “ he supports my decision”. The conclusion is - got a faulty speaker, had to discuss and convince for the return and total waste of time from 250pm to 5pm and getting these sorts answers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff here is excellent and a credit to this store.
We bought a bed here and the buying process was a really nice experience overall with a staff member called Cici. The delivery actually went wrong when the wrong model was delivered at our house but Cici and her manager were very proactively in trying to resolve the situation for us. This proactive effort they put in is highly appreciated because we had the exact opposite experience at another HN store nearer our house last month where we were left running after the staff to help us resolve a product issue in an electronic device we got at that store.
Even though this store is further away from our house, the excellent staff here is worth driving across town for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful what you buy. I have a feeling this store tries to avoid giving refunds. I was lucky 1 of the ladies at the desk told me if I wasn't happy with an item I purchased yesterday, I can return it. So I did next day. When I was returning the item, this other woman came over to the desk saying to the lady that remembered me from yesterday "I saw her yesterday, that's why I came over" and she repeated she saw me yesterday - maybe she isn't aware she's rude? I could hear her clearly and it felt like I committed a crime? She is only an employee at the store and I returned the item in the same condition I bought it in; why is she so upset that she has to make my experience so unpleasant? I won't be coming to this store again and I certainly do not recommend it to anybody.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really bad shopping experience at this store and I am really disappointed with Harvey Norman.
I bought a LG TV and it has problem after 3 weeks. A third party asked me to provide some pics and then said it was an external damage. I have explained I installed the TV very carefully and properly. However, nobody from Harvey Norman and LG cares about my experience. I have wasted a lot of my time on solving the problem but got nothing.
I can feel a "I don't care about how the shoppers feel and I just want to make money and that's it" attitude from both Harvey Norman and LG.
Just a kindly reminder to other shoppers that don't buy LG from Harvey Norman as they won't pay any responsibilities!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Received quick and efficient service. Went in for a washing machine and it was delivered to us within less than 24 hours!! Always found the staff on that side of the store really helpful (the home wares side I guess you call it?). The furniture side on the other hand - not so great. When I paid with a bunch of vouchers, they didn't seem to know what to do and made me feel like a burden which was disappointing.
