β β β β β Being trying to get an invoice for weeks now. The invoices they keep sending me show $0. Also no hertz points added to my account. Keep sending emails, get no reply. Call, the person says theyβll do something, and I never receive a thing.

β β β β β For a location as wet and cold as wellington. You would think an undercover well signed and flat walkway would be at the top of your list for must haves! Upon arriving and picking up our keys at about 1am we were given some instructions which we quickly forgot being very tired. Eventually found the car and the hertz storage yard but had to walk through deep water and lift luggage trolleys over barricades to get our luggage to the car. Not a good first impression for people new to your city and local office

β β β β β I booked a car through Firefly at Wellington airport which was supplied through Hertz brand . I booked a mitsi ASX or similar as I Knew that would fit my passengers and mothers walking frame. When I went to pick up my car I was told they didnt have that car, thats OK , but give me something else like that model. I also phoned ahead and wrote in the notes that I needed that size car - for its head room and luggage space - I was given an unwashed corolla. The girl adjusted the price, Im not complaining about the price, It just wasnt a good experience. The zimmerframe only just fit and luggage had to go on back seat with extra passenger-- I guess looking back I should have just gone to another rental counter to see if anyone else could help me.

β β β β β Terrible experience, I travel often with you guys and my company will always prebook the vehicle. Guess what, I land on wellington airport and the car is not ready yet. Seriously for a booking that was done 4 days ago. The new customers on the counter had just booked and took the keys.

β β β β β Left family of 5 stranded in Wellington airport in middle of night because flight was delayed and then when questioned about it in morning were completely unsympathetic and made out like it was all my fault.
Even if it was not their fault it was not mine and all they had to do was be a little understanding and kind. Instead they were cold, unsympathetic and rude.
How would they feel after a long flight with little kids being stuck with no where to go in closed airport in middle of night. Maybe lessons in customer service and compassion might be in order for their staff.
Fail, Hertz Wellington , big fail!

β β β β β My experience with Hertz Wellington Airport this morning has left me feeling small and humiliated. I have called them but they have made me feel worse, hence Iβm resorting to writing this review.
After landing at Wellington airport, searching for the Uber pick-up point, I went up to the Hertz parking booth. Granted I still had my mask on from the flight, and the attendant seemed to get irritated because she said she couldn't hear me properly. She did point to the pick up area and shouted at me. I had to beat a hasty retreat.
So I rang up Hertz Wellington Airport and explained my ill-treatment. Instead of being sympathetic, the person at Hertz started a tirade - that I was lucky to be let into that booth, that the attendant should only deal with Hertz-related business and not all and sundry unable to find their cars and giving directions. The person I called said the attendant doesn't have to help me, I understand where sheβs coming from but being civil costs nothing. Of course I will never interact with Hertz ever again. Their front line people lack any common decency. If there's a recording of my call, it should be used as an example of how not to deal with the public.

β β β β β I'm never one to write these bad reviews but I have just dealt with the worst customer support from the Hertz Car rental at Wellington airport. My partner thinks she's left her keys in one of the cars she rented and politely called and asked if they could check. The man who answered is named Harold or Howard and he was extremely rude about it, he didn't want to check and kept saying that the keys weren't there but we know he hasn't done a proper search. He even told her that it is her own fault for losing her keys and laughed and hung up on us, this has left my partner in tears and am completely disgusted with the way we have been treated.

β β β β β Booked a car last minute to pick up from Wellington Airport to drop of at Auckland Airport. As our flight had be cancelled and we needed to get home ASAP. When we arrived to pick up the car they were very friendly and quick. The car we received was very new, low km and a dream to drive. The only negatives for me were not being able to drop off after hours meaning we had to wait all night to be able to drop off in the morning when they opened. Pricing is too high.
