Most unhelpful receptionist. Have issues every booking we've made from not having client in their database when we've been confirmed as patients to having incorrect booking times to doctors/nurses. Receptionist assumes the nationality of patients.

My partner had an appointment for 12.30 on 11/10/21, went and waited in reception for an hour. Was told by the receptionist that she was being seen next, but it's been over an hour where they eventually told her she needs to book another appointment. What a disgrace and utter incompetence from the staff, that is frankly quite embarassing just to get a basic healthcare service. How can you tell someone "sorry, you need to book another appointment" after waiting over an hour and not even the patients fault. How can they mess up that bad!?

The reception staff need a wake up call! I arrived into the practice at 9:50am for my 10:00am appointment and checked in with the reception. After sitting and patiently waiting for 40mins to be called in for my consult I approached a receptionist to remind them that I was still there and waiting, she explained, that they had forgotten to check me into the appointment book! This is not good enough! I waited till 11:00am to be finally called in for my 10:00am appointment. I briefly mentioned this to the doctor; he agreed that this is a common issue which needs to be addressed. Sort it out High Street Health Hub or i'll be going elsewhere!

Regrettably the only place in Lower Hutt that was enrolling new patients hence why I go here. I enrolled via email, almost a month later no contact after the initial response thanking me for the paperwork and that it may take 10-12 business days to enroll. Finally I called as I needed to restart a prescription, and explained I hadn’t heard anything only to be told that β€œYes you are enrolled and have been for the past month or so”. Honestly really unhelpful, I signed up for the manage my health app as well, almost two months ago when I got my appointment (finally) still haven’t heard anything. When I called, I was told I was registered on their end, confirmed my email address and it turns out they’ve used the wrong email address despite having it on file twice.

If you're relying on your gp from this practice to send important information - don't. While the overall experience at this clinic was good, the repeated enquiries and an out and out lie from the gp when asked directly when she'd sent the information (which was never sent) has soured the experience

I never had an issue with this place or their employees. I really appreciate that they always got me in when I needed them urgently (I don't mind being seen by anyone available). I've only had one issue and that was that they weren't able to tell me where I was referred to. I assume it was either lack of training or maybe it's some policy I don't know about? If it's possible, that would be the only thing I would have them to work on.

I know we need to be kind to each other and show compassion. However, i made the biggest mistake to move to this medical centre. Few weeks ago, i was quite sick (covid related symptoms) and as a patient i called for an appointment but i was treated very badly. I was told that a Dr will call me but it never happened. I went to the Avalon after hours intead as i could not wait and got the best service and warmest welcome. This week Feb 2022 my teenage daughter got sick and we called for an appointment and same thing happened. We had to call them after 4hrs but never got an appointment and had to buy panadol and brought our kid to after hours medical centre. Stay away, they seem to be racially biased and have a no care attitude. Sorry i am not a fan of putting bad reviews but i believe that this cant be tolerated. BTW, i am a registered patient there
