★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting place to stay, it's an old retirement home that's been turned into a hotel/motel. Always very cheap to stay, nice and close to the city, a free continental breakfast, and very nice staff. Rooms are always clean, and very warm. Have stayed twice and have been satisfied with my stay both times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely place to stay! Room was clean warm and had all we needed, fluffiest blanket ever too! We had a blast playing ping pong and indoor bowls in the games room. The breakfast was great, and superb hospitality. Hope to come back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place ever!!! Huge gaming room with pooltable, table tennis, bowling area and much more. Unbeatable price and breakfast was included. The owner is a lovely person who was very helpful. There was no water for half of the building apparently, we immediately were offered a different room for a shower. Just lovely we will definitely come back!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an affordable and comfortable location to stay for both short and long term stays. The guy Theo takes good care of you. There are many amenities such as a pool table, table tennis table, car parking facilities, etc. There is also a lounge with a piano as well as a common kitchen. I wouldn't recommend it for really loud people and party lover since the place maintains a very quite decorum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was honestly shocked, what was on the side was different when we got here. No TV, No Internet, No food available because of COVID-19 food handling. No coffee or tea or a jar. n no bar fridge The Owners are very polite n friendly. The room small single beds.
There are kitchen n dinning room for us to cook our own food.
After checking this facility I notice it was a Recidential home for the elderly. Opened by the Honorable Helen Clark..
The bathroom in our room tells it all..
It was a rest home before...
Never mind , I can spend money on Restaurant n Shopping..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room very cold, heater didn't work, towels provided were damp, no spare blankets, room not serviced, no spare toilet paper. Was "upgraded" to a twin room, charged more for room than advertised. Have emailed and heard nothing back. Room stunk, beds were hard. Not staying here again. Bathroom very dirty and not clean. Definitely needs work on building. Leaking everywhere. Below 1 star.
