โ โ โ โ โ This will be the third time we have stayed at the holiday inn Rotorua and we will be back. We do a lot of mountain biking and this location backs on to the whakarewarewa forest so it is ideal. They have a lockup room for your bikes and a bike wash area outside. The pool is great for the kids and they now have a kids room with games etc. The restaurant is great and it works out pretty well priced since kids eat free. Overall I think this is the best place to stay in Rotorua if you are a mountain biking family.

โ โ โ โ โ We have stayed here several times. The staff are always friendly and the pool is fantastic. One of my daughters actually cried when we got back home as she had had such a great holiday. However it is unfortunate the hotel requires a vaccine pass to stay so unfortunately we won't be returning until this misguided policy is reversed.

โ โ โ โ โ Very nice beds and very clean rooms. Nice high pressure and hot Shower. Heated pools (and spas) and a pleasantly well equipped play room for the kids. The staff is of course very attentive and welcoming.

โ โ โ โ โ We booked for a premium room but our room was definitely not anything close to premium. It was not the room we saw in the pictures, it was much smaller and basic. The mirrors were not cleaned, there was writing all over them. The shower and tap pressure was so powerful to the point it were it hurt. We were given no plates or bowls to eat out of just a couple of cups. The receptionists were rude and did not listen to us. The gift shop told us we couldnโt buy a candle (although it had a price tag) because he didnโt know how old it was or if it would even work. Would never stay here again. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

โ โ โ โ โ Perfect hotel for my little family, especially with our 2 year old toddler. She loves the water and the warm/heated pools & kids room were just perfect. We will definitely be coming back again. Overall excellent service and very very happy with our stay. Would recommend Holiday Inn to anyone looking for accomodation in Rotorua and especially with young children.

โ โ โ โ โ The gym made our morning extra special with no one around. Spa is still awesome and the kids loved the pool. Definitely suggest staying. Restaurant is really nice. Dinner and breakfast is pretty amazing considering it's all you can eat and delivered to your table!!!

โ โ โ โ โ Nice clean hotel. Staff very helpful. Large room and bathroom make this a nice stay. A bit of a let down was the breakfast. For the price it was underwhelming and cold. We wonโt be having breakfast here again. Thermal pool a nice size and always kept clean. Hotel highly recommended.

โ โ โ โ โ Very child-friendly. Had a very enjoyable time with my young children and service was impeccable.
My 7 year old son said he felt like a King staying here. We loved the warm, spacious pool and entertaining kids room. Console games, life-size chess, air hockey, an infants area and colouring table! He was so upset that we had to leave! Admittedly, so was I.
Kids needs aside, this hotel is lovely if you are a solo or couple traveller. The bar area is spacious and comfy with very welcoming and friendly staff. The pool and spa are warm and lovely to unwind in after a long day of sightseeing. Rooms are so tidy and clean that I was comfortable to let my 8 month old son crawl around in the floor in our room.
We look forward to staying here again soon!
