β β β β β Quiet secluded beach. Doc has an agreement with the landowner and maintains a walking track down to the beach. Beautiful views down and up the track. Next time we'll make a day of it to enjoy the beach and have a bit of a swim.

β β β β β Amazing Beach with a waterfall!!! Not easy to get there so not many people. You can either walk down the path from the end of the road carpark or all the way from Waihi Beach.

β β β β β This is a great secluded beach with a small waterfall/cave. I first came across it at the beginning of 2018 and been there a few times after. Great place to relax, fish or just listen to the waves crash. From my experience you can walk to get to it from the other bays/Bowentown beach end or you can drive to a small car park/property closer to the bay and do a small hike down, roughly about 30 minutes - follow the marked tracks though as it passes through private property βΊοΈ

β β β β β One of enjoyable walk we experienced that just less than 2hours drive from Auckland. Entered in to the private farm land and ended to this beautiful secluded beach. We had all the beach all by ourselves on Queenβs Birthday. ??
Make sure to empty your bladder before going to this place as there was no public toilet in the area ?
It probably best to visit on summer time to have a perfect swimming on a sunny day.
He place was just 10-15 minutes drive to Waihi Township.

β β β β β A mini "Abel Tasman" experience! A good 30 minute walk down and 40 minute or so walk up!
As others have said, the beach is quite secluded and it's gorgeous! Well worth the walk.
We walked down with with jandals but maybe walking shoes would have been better !
