★ ★ ★ ★ ★ great beach for 1 reason only and tide dependent. Parking charge a disguising rip off for a public beach. I was truly shocked... Go to Hahei Beach. A lot nicer, less dangerous and free parking plus access to Cathedral COVE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite places to be... absolutely beautiful. Little to no reception... thermal pools you can dig yourself (can hire spades from various places) Check the tide 2 hours either side of low tide to make the most of your experience and if you're not a very experienced swimmer... do not bother getting into the waves. The undertow and currents will 100% overpower you. Keep children out and supervise them around the hot water as it can get scalding in some areas!! There are usually life guards around over the weekends/peak season. Would absolutely recommend the visit ?
