★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pushy American that sold us on a $50.00 crayfish cocktail, said it was enough to share. When it arrived I was shocked how small it was. Way too expensive for what I got. Great view but $20 min per person and a $10 plate sharing fee. Avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place with a great family team. A pair of awesome bois and girls behind the bar. Food was delicious and a great part of making us feel welcome on our holiday. Would defo recommend after a day at the beach!

Wow the customer service is so bad. Just brought some ice creams and were wanted to have beers, cocktails and hot chips for the kids and were told on no uncertain terms that we were not welcome as this was a place for “drinking” and is a restaurant and we are not welcome… interesting that in these COVID times our tourist dollars are not welcome here. Maybe it was our young kids that put them off. Not a great way to do business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great little place for a pre or post Hot Water Beach adventure.
We stopped in for a Mince n Cheese pie ? & they were delicious. Looks like there was a lot to pick from the menu & the coffee was great.
Lots of room on the patio to sit with chums.
Friendly & professional staff.
Parking can be a bit tight if the beach is busy
The day we were there I think there was a vintage car rally going on because there were some real tight joints in the parking lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stoped off here to eat nice place but the grumpy old guy needs to learn he is in the hospitality trade and be a little nicer to his paying customers. food was good but a long wait as they had a large group in this was explained as 20 min wait ⌚ 60 minutes later and we had to ask about our order again very off with us food arrives and it was very nice probably not worth the long wait . the other guys working realty nice and chatty just grumps after spending a couple hours on the beach we call back to the shop to get a cold drink as we approached the kiosk queue grumpy guy closed up leaving us and others just stood there waiting to be served but he then went and sat down with the other staff again you are in hospitality be hospitable its your job./business

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, probably the best thing about it. Almost the only place to get dinner around here, so we tried it out and it was very mediocre. The food was fine but the portions were small. I ordered the fish tacos and there were only two small tacos for 28 dollars. Overall I wouldn’t eat here again, but it did the job i guess.
