★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got to my hotel room and it was so dirty! There were stains all on the carpet, and holes along the back of the roof. The card scanner for the door didn't work a couple of times either. And don't even get me started on the breakfast bowels. Those bowels are the size of bowel for a 2 year old! The desk in my bedroom, the electrical outlet is behind the shelf so I can't plug anything into it! That was so annoying since I could not plug in my computer and work. There were a few good thing though..such as having a very short walk to get to Amigos or Speights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ well. I've only ever left 1 hotel due rhe room. It had blood stained bedding this one is now the second. Hair and crumbs on table at check in. 1 bed so uncomfortable 3 of us tried and failed to sleep ended up.on the 2 seater couch . beds had winter doonas with no way of cooling the room unless you ran an non green aircon fan setup. the fridge door kept opening due bad seal. the shower smelled of curry when the shower was ran and stank of cigarettes when. not cracked/broken windows and not enough seats in the 'Family' area. was "refunded" most of 1 night but not the remaining 2. (see my review of Bavarian motel- much much better)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Car park smell a bit putting off, especially as it is the first impression you get as you arrive. Rubbish skip behind a door in car park. Rooms getting pricey too. Sad face! Usually have had a great stay at this hotel.

We enjoyed the breakfasts, the chef lady was friendly and made our breakfast with care
Room is stuffy as there was no air con, fan only. They should take extra care with the windows ( condensation/mould )
Hair found on bathroom, stained on the shower curtain
The movie theatre is sad and literally crumbling with broken ceiling and all, they should just close off this area for safety
They should improve the rubbish area as they are together with the parking garage. Its unpleasant to go in and out of our car
They have a rolling security bar over on the reception window. We were there for 3 days and they are always down. Broken perhaps(?) For what ever reason, I think it was a bad impression. Like saying : Welcome! But beware that this is not a very good area to be in!

But pretty disappointed about the property- booked a 2 room apartment.
Car park was fine- until you had to walk into the garage to get into the complex as this is where they keep their garbage. There’s an overpowering perfume scent that must be in the ventilation system you could smell everywhere once you walk into the complex that made me and my sisters nauseous.
Was feeling excited about getting into the room as the pictures looked amazing- this wasn’t the case. Windows cracked with cobwebs everywhere. Small dining area that seemed like it was meant for x1 guest- there was a TV in each room rather than in the dining area so we opted to moving the couch into one of the rooms so we could watch a movie one night (we moved the couch back before we left). If there was a TV in the dining area, the couch would need to be bigger.
Bathroom was ok- but no operating ventilation system. Grime on the bathroom roof, all over the shower edges and on the bottom of the shower curtain- shower space is tiny.
Beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were all tough to lay on.
Was a bit pricey for what we paid for- to be honest, we were close to booking somewhere else. And when talking about the accommodation with family and some locals, this property doesn’t have the best reputation for their facilities. Wish I had done more research of the property first.
However, it’s in a great location and our room was located to the back of the property so not much noise. Due to what we paid for and what we got, will most likely find other accommodation in Invercargill.
