ifurniture Westgate Shop - Whenuapai

Such a great experience at ifurniture. Had a lovely man assist us with selecting two different ranges of furniture to create a dining table set, he processed everything efficiently. Will be back!

Worst experience in westgate store...sales person more interested in his phone rather than helping...bad attitude towards us as a customer..asked him a question he and just walked away again was more interested in his phone.. ..went to the counter to ask for help again .. he did not listen rather chose to ignore and started looking in his phone .. y do u employee such customer serve rep .. i dont know wether he was the owner or sales rep but this attitude..my God .worst worst worst ever don't know how to treat customer never will i ever come back nor will i recommend anyone. If there was negative 100 i would give that Onehunga store is much helpful

It's iFurniture. It's cheap and cheerful. If it's high quality you're after then it's not for you, but for affordable furniture this is the place. Edit: From 4 stars down to 1, iFurniture supplied my father in law with a broken dining table (literally broken chair legs) which he wanted a replacement of, iFurniture stated the 'other ones were probably the same' so he's stuck with an awkward situation and no longer wants it. I believe that if they DO supply quality chains, it's certainly not with the same furniture they sell in store - this looks like factory seconds.

Pan at Westgate is awesome, the shop has a huge selection! It helps to look online and understand how the pickup / collection works, once you do you have an amazing experience. Will shop again.

Because of both recent bad experiences we have split our review in to three parts. 1. Westgate branch: The Westgate/Northwest branch has quite a good range of products on display. The two staff members we met there were so good and helpful while we were trying to find a new couch. We cant speak too highly of their help and later in their support (Where Onehunga/Customer Service failed horribly. 2. Onehunga store: We visited them before Westgate and were seriously disappointed. We asked if they had any couches with some specific requirements, staff nonchalantly waved a hand in the direction of the showroom and said 'Go look over there", unacceptable. We had decided what we wanted, we just had to find it and they have a large range to select from. By asking staff we assumed we would get at least some help but no, we walked out of the shop a few minutes later. 3. Customer Service: After selecting and paying for the couch we liked at Westgate, we waited for the arranged delivery. We had paid extra for them to help get the couch unpacked and assembled inside the house. The carrier put the three boxes on the deck outside the house and left. We unpacked it all ourselves (3 big boxes weighing 44Kg each). We found that one of the recliner footrests had a faulty motor. We called CS and while trying to explain our fault finding steps, she kept talking over the top of us and then she hung up. We called back and she kept saying send photos, send video. We asked of what? The chair is broken there is nothing to photograph or video, it just doesnt work. Getting frustrated, we asked to talk to someone in NZ (she was Philippino), she said they cant do that, she said she would email the Sales/Warehouse and have them send a replacement motor unit to Westgate branch.. It never happened, by the following Sunday we had heard nothing. We complained and said we wanted to talk to someone helpful in New Zealand and eventually Neo phones a day or two later, to his credit he did know the details of the problem but again he didn't listen and talked over the top of us from the start. His only real comment was to refund the $20 extra for delivery, LOL. We went to the Westgate stored to look at another furniture item and while there we mentioned the trouble we had had. The Westgate staff did everything they could to fix the problem, giving us a replacement motor from a store chair and asking us to bring the faulty one back. We were all fixed and happy all within an hour. A stark contrast against the treatment of both the Onehiunga branch, the customer service (sic!) in the Philippines and the 'Manager' Neo. If you need furniture take the time to travel to Westgate, don't bother with the slack and poor service of the Onehunga branch.

The Westgate shop has some fantastic deals and the staff are very helpful and professional. However I was disappointed when I went to pick up my tallboy from the warehouse on Carbine road. The lady I spoke to was very rude. Then one of the staff just put a trolley under it and then walked away. I had to explain to him that there's no way I could put the tallboy into the back of my car by myself. When we got it home we noticed a nick in one of the handles probably a result of careless handling at the warehouse.

I came here for the first time i pass it every day but never had a chance to stop in. I really like some of their furniture very reasonable prices as well. Only downfall is the customer service is terrible no interest in serving customers. He was more interested in staring at his phone, so don't know how they would be if I wanted to buy something.

Pan is the best! Normally I always shop online but he made this experience super fun! I'm so glad I went into this store- I got a rich people couch at a middle class people price! Pan is right- you need to come in to sit on the couch to choose best : ) The feather couch is so nice and soft I don't want to leave my house now! Thanks again Pan & the team! Auntie Kate will be back!
