★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some really rude, unhelpful terminal staff both in Wellington and Picton causing unnecessary anxiety and stress thankfully other staff were helpful.
Will definitely reconsider who I book with in future. On the plus side the staff aboard the ships were awesome they get 5 + stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy. Arrive on get and a simple wait in traffic, and then off to the fabulous South Island.
Leaving has simple queue to board.
Would love to see some cafe options at the vehicle queue, as would save waiting without coffee!!! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well maintained ship had a pleasant journey. However, I couldn't find my car at the of it.
I wasn't aware they raised the deck where I had parked & filled the void left with more cars!
Anyway, happy ending after finding & speaking with deck

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a breeze to connect our islands , the inter did perfectly.
From check in to boarding and then the plus lounge. Twelve meters of bus and trailer the staff made for a hassle free park .
The lounge greeted by lovely lads and lasses food beverages all brilliant.
Many thanks to all for a fab service ???.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful journey through the Marlborough Sounds to Wellington.
Staff were super friendly, gave us clear directions to our hotel from the ferry terminal.
The coffee on board was good. The food looked okay, but I did not sample that on this trip.
I do recommend that you bring something to read as the trip is over 3 hours long.
I would be happy to travel with Interislander again on the Aratere vessel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice ride, kids had fun. Great way to get over the straight with a car. Well , the only way actually. Food was pretty good, there is an espresso machine in the cafe so you can get decent coffee (another review said you can't and it's wrong). Staff were very nice!
