★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 2 on at night make their mochas so full of choc powder you can not drink it..both young..hav told the young girl but nxt time you are in does the same thing...lovely clean shop though an others that work there are lovely..

A rude lady told me miss 3 and Mr 5 had to wear masks and sign in
I told her that under 12s do not need to wear masks and they at 3yr and 5ys do not need to sign I
She told me store is not a school and if we were at supermarket we wld have to have kids with masks and they wld need sign in.
She was rude aggressive upset my 2 young grandchildren
I told her to check rules she refused.
We left buying nothing from there
Very upsetting mostly for kids
Will never ever return

The owner of the store contacted me thru fb
She apologized and assured me the staff member will be taught the correct information on children wearing masks and signing in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived at my motel in Kaikoura around 10.30pm after a very long wait in traffic due to the snow. Was hungry looking for something hot and asked the woman behind the counter if they had any pies I could heat up or anything hot. She looked very unimpressed and unfriendly replying no we don’t and we close in 3 minutes. I get the staff want to go home at such a late hour but a little kindness and understanding would go a long way.
