★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great experience. I am yet to have an emporium beer that I dont love. The minigolf is great and any brewery that does minigolf and escape rooms is just a dream. Love this place the new bar area is perfect. If you are driving through and enjoy beer or fun, you have to stop by

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice wee getaway spot with a wide range of very affordable beers. Fun amenities around for, again, very reasonable prices. We weren't welcomed in the warmest fashion which was a bit of a bummer, yet overall great place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Showed up just before the opening of the bar, and I wish I could stay! Owner was awesome to talk to. Beer was delicious along with their fish and chip recommendation that was a shop close by.
My recommendation is to do just that: get a flagon, then some fish and chips from the other shop, then go park up next to a beach somewhere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for mini golf and beers and stayed for food. So glad we did, this place is a hidden gem in Kaikoura. Beer is great, mini golf is a laugh and the food, while limited in menu, is outstanding. If you are in Kaikoura you have to come here. Vege Burgers and Polenta fries are awesome and their beer is outstanding.
