β β β β β Awesome food with great staff. On Sunday you need to preorder the roast pork which we didn't.... Had major food envy as it looked and smelt great on the table next to us... Will be back and will PREORDER ?

β β β β β Quite an unwelcome vibe from this place apart from our server who seemed to do his best. After reading other reviews (after visiting) it seems we're not the only ones to feel this way. Food was ok but quite salty. Such a shame for a small place like Cooks Beach not to have a more welcoming, positive atmosphere towards guests wanting to spend their money and support local while in the area.

β β β β β Food was ok, the wine and beer selection was great, my complaint was with the slightly rude man with the pony tail at the front counter. His attitude didn't let up until we paid, then the warmth and smiles came out. Our main waiter was good, but not attentive enough to even ask if my wife or I would like another wine. Empty glasses sat on the table, my wife finally got the rude man's attention and ordered a ginger beer, didn't brother to ask me, so we split the ginger beer between us.
Can do much better guys on your hospitality.

β β β β β Been there twice in a row, first was takeaways as they didnβt have seats which was fine, little town busy time. Food was great but lady at front of house was rude. We decided to book a table for the second night as it was a friends birthday. Again food was amazing and table service was good but the man at front of house made us tally up all our food at counter on our calculators then made a comment βyou could have done this at your tableβ. Completely understand they are understaffed but that isnβt our fault! All it took was a couple of taps for him to tally it up and for us to pay. Like I said food was amazing just more staff and appreciation would have been nice.

β β β β β This was our wedding reception venue and i couldnt fault the atmosphere and staff! They were very accommodating and the garden bar with outdoor games was very entertaining for the kids. The food was very tasty and generous. We had a very good night! Thank you

β β β β β Excellent food, wine (and craft beer) and service. Actually wondering whether itβs worth eating elsewhere in the Coromandel.
The gnocchi was pillowy soft, tuna and beef poke well marinated and perfectly seasoned, and perfectly cooked ostrich.
Service was attentive and swift, with helpful context about the ingredients and dishes.
The wine list is expansive and incredibly well priced. The craft beer list equally so!

β β β β β Would 100% recommend the tasting menu with wine pairings. The owner is very knowledgeable and the meals are tasty. They have no problem swapping out meals if you have food preferences as well. Coffee is good from the window during the day as well
