★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely gorgeous location, luxurious amenities and funky/arty design. Stunning birdlife and views. So close to Tawharanui beach and Matakana Village. Fantastic hosts. We LOVED our romantic getaway here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I have stayed at Kaka Ridge Retreat on two occasions and both times were wonderful. The cottage is beautifully located with 2 different views over sea and native forest. If you just sit still you can get an array of native birds flittering past in the foreground while watching the light change on the ocean. Very very serene. All complemented by a super comfortable bed, gourmet breakfast and wonderful hosts
