★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose not to stay once we had viewed the room - there was not even enough floor space to put a suitcase.!
We think the photo which shows a long low building looking out onto a large expanse of lawn is mis-leading. In fact that view is not what is visible from the room at all.
The impression we got from this photo was that the building comprised 3 or 4 units with a wide open vista.
The place was clean and the homebaking was a nice touch, however the room was much too small for comfort and places to eat quite a distance and not easily accessed.
We chose to simply drive home - $170 out of pocket .........

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful bed and breakfast is situated just north of Auckland near Warkworth. The beautiful grounds are meticulously kept and the rooms are luxuriously furnished (fresh baked treats, fresh cut flowers from the garden, an assortment of coffees and teas, all in the bedroom). The best thing about this place and the reason you should stay here, is because the hosts provide genuine, warm, kind, first-class hospitality. We were made to feel very welcome here and Alan was very attentive to providing a comfortable experience, answering our questions, and being very kind to our two children (ages 6 and 2). They felt very included as a result of this attention. I would definitely stay here again and guarantee that you will enjoy this accommodation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful stay. Hosts (Alan and Linley) were extremely accommodating and helpful. Comfortable bed, fabulous shower and the best breakfast one could have wished for. Perfect location for us towing a large trailer. Lovely personal touches with home baking on our arrival too. Thank you very much. A++++

Biscuits and home cooking in our room were a plus. Only issue was with parking, care was needed since space was limited. Room was on the small side but well appointed.
