★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst katsubi ever, this place has gone down hill fast, $33 a small and medium - the medium had half the pieces of chicken that the small had.. and the salad was almost non existent - really disappointing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why say on your shop window, you are re-opening on the 8th April after undergoing maintenance. We drove all the way from Penrose to get food. You were still closed. Why wasn't the sign updated with the correct date/details?
Very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located inside of Albany mall. Small little location with limited options. Staff were friendly. Tasted great! I love the crispy chicken - delicious. They also have a fridge of drink options!
Additional notes... bathrooms in the food court.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dry over cooked little bits of meat covered in an over sweet sauce - make sure you ask for your rice to be hot not the cold stuff on top of the rice cooker ( the lid is always open) check the salad it sometimes looks a bit dry

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Katsubi I have ever been to. I got two pieces of ‘vegetable tempura’ which turned out to be vermicelli wrapped in nori - disgusting. The teriyaki sauce is FAR too sweet. And the rice wasn’t seasoned in the slightest. I ended up throwing it away. Poor excuse for food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time I order from Katsubi I tell myself "this is the last time" and then a few months later I forget and order again and regret it, so I'm writing this to remind myself.
The rice is too watery and there's never enough to go with the mountain of meat. You may think they're generous with their meat portions, but the meat is 50% oily batter, 30% sugar and 20% actually meat. I think I just got diabetes from this bowl, and that's after scraping half of the sickly sweet "meat" off. 3 starts are for the nice staff.
