The spot is beautiful and decently cheap. With the beach just down the hill it's ideal for families, just be aware of the water conditions before going for a dip

β β β β β It is always good to come to the camp and cross the river, pile up the sand dune and head out along the beach to unwind. Shop is handy and the people there are always friendly

β β β β β Great campsite, the manager was very good and informed us of the swimming status of the river, which was safe, and of the good fishing spots.
The biggest letdown were the locals who would bring their dogs down, despite the fact that it is very clearly signposted that dogs aren't allowed in the area due to a local bylaw.
We will definitely be returning.
