β β β β β I stayed at The Old Confectionery with a group of girlfriends. What an amazing experience. The location is fantastic, so central to the waterfront, shops and eateries. The apartments are beyond anything I could have imagined, from the most gorgeous interiors, bathrooms and well thought out design, these apartments are comfortable, welcoming and opulent. We went in the middle of winter and the accommodation was warm, the beds were so lovely to sleep in and contained everything we needed. I canβt wait to go back!! If I could give more than five stars I would.

β β β β β The first time we have seen this beautifully restored historical building it was under construction and we could hardly imagine its finished picture. Now, completed with its elegant and fine interior design, its beautiful views out to the sea and the old town of Oamaru, this place truly is unique. Opening the windows you donβt only hear, but you can also smell the see.
With its great location it enables you to explore this lovely little town easily.
We also love the attention to detail in the interior throughout the entire building and the little treats, local crackers, cheese and the gorgeous fresh flowers. Itβs very clean and so comfortable.
You donβt only see, but you can feel all the love put inside and around these historical walls. Weβd like to rate this as a comfortable, welcoming and luxurious accommodation.

β β β β β Absolute Luxury and right in the heart of Oamaru. The old steam punk scene and great pubs a minutes walk. Perfect place to finish after completing the cycle trail and unwind in comfort. Plenty of room for our team and good parking for the follow up van. Thanks guys this place is awesome!

β β β β β We had a girls weekend away at The Old Confectionery. A stunning building with a very high level of renovation. We were impressed by the luxurious and beautifully decorated rooms and interior . The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were super comfortable. This made our stay a great experience. I can highly recommend this place and we will be back soon.

β β β β β From the moment I drove up to this beautifully restored historic building I was in awe!
Captivated already by entering a negative detail frosting of the buildings logo on the windows, I then entered the most beautifully Interior designed living space tastefully incorporating old with new, from exquisite wallpaper choices to lighting!
Special touches of Whitestone Cheese and crackers on offer- everything was amazing and I can't wait to tell as many people as possible that this boutique accomodation is a MUST when visiting and staying in Oamaru- I wanted to stay a week!
