★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We typically like KFC in Hastings, they typically give great fried food, with very nice drive through customer service.
Our orders are $30 to $45 of takeout, every visit to Hastings.
Recently as in last week our order had a long grey hair around the chicken. Surprised, absolutely!!
After vomiting, as we'd taken a few bites, thats how we found it. I phoned the store, spoke with the manager and explained. She offered meal replacement or refund, which I thought was fair but lacked generosity for a returning regular customer. This experience cost us 45mins, extra in our pushed timetable. Greatful, but not impressed with this shift manager's lack of interest in our custom.

Great Service!! thought I was going to be in for a long wait however it turned out the car at the front of the line was causing delays. Once that car went through the line went fast and service was great, young Maori/Pacific girl on speaker was so well spoken, great cheerful attitude and efficient. Normally don't feel great after KFC but this was hot, fresh and delicious. Only gripe (not this particular KFCs fault) but the Zinger Burger should not have red onion in it. Makes it taste weird. Love onion but not the place. Lol. Thanks team, great experience. Keep it up!! ❤??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband came Thru D/T on Monday about 4.30pm, & was given the wrong order.
When I rang the restaurant up, I was speaking to the Manager who admitted we were given the wrong order.
I asked if we could have a credit for next time we came into town.
He then texted his RM for permission,
And came back saying No.
Or we could bring the food back now or next time we were in town.
I was really annoyed with the RM answer, they were the one's that stuffed our order up.
It was raining I wasn't going back out in that rain again.
Do the decent thing Hastings KFC & credit our meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was bad, it’s now run by kids who don’t give us the right stuff and don’t listen, we ordered a can of coke and lift with they didn’t give us until we asked, also ordered a extra large potato and gravy and she read it out to us at the window and then we came around to collect our food and apparently it was never added to our order. Place has gone down hill so fast.
