Have you ever been into a store, or car lot and the sales people almost drown you with their cheesiness, and hard sales pitch? You've probably also been to a car yard where the sales rep just looks at you from the office, and doesn't show interest in you as a potential buyer (or was that just our special experience lol) If you're wanting to have the freedom to look around, or you know what you're looking for in a vehicle. If you're unsure about anything, and have a tonne of questions that you wanna ask, or you've made up your mind on what you want or need to get for you or your family, you need to try Kilburn Cars on Wilkinson Street, Ellerslie. We walked in and were greeted by Bel, who pointed us in the direction of the car we were looking for. We spent some time making sure what we saw on TradeMe was ticking the boxes we needed ticked, and then we let Bel know we were interested. Bel encouraged us to take it for a test drive, we informed her that we weren't from Auckland so we weren't keen on going down the motorway. We didn't feel pressured, as Bel gave us directions, on how to get to the motorway and return, confident in her, we took the car for a test drive. We came Back, with a few questions (there were a tonne of fancy gadgets we didn't know about) and the questions Bel didn't know the answer to, she engaged the knowledge of her team. Once satisfied, we let Bel know we wanted the car. Bel then handed us over to Tai, who helped us with sealing the deal, in purchasing our 2nd family car. From start to finish we were looked after, we even had some laughs in there too ? We drove up to Auckland in 1 car and returned home with 2, and that was because Bel & Tai were aware of the convenience for us, although I'm sure many will say it was to make that sale that day blah blah blah .. the truth of the matter is, we went with high expectations, and left with those expectations being exceeded. So if you want a great end to end experience, I would definitely try Bel and the team at Kilburn. We were helped by George in choosing a Van. There was a good selection of vehicles and George was very helpful, with no pressure to buy. In the office we were helped by Tai who answered all our financing and payment questions, as well as sorting out registration of our new vehicle. Other staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our vehicle purchase experience.

We were well looked after by Shelby (sales assistant) ! she'll take good care of anyone I'm sure. & will make you feel comfortable about any concerns! She attended to us about our car enquiries after hours and even on her days off :D. We were also well looked after by Tai (finance assistant), she knows her stuff and will also take good care of you as she did for us :D...

The Team at Budget Car Sales Ellerslie are amazing and have helped me and my mum drive away happy with the perfect car for us. We had spent the whole day looking for a Mitsubishi Outlander and hadn’t found anything that worked for us. The day was beginning to seem very disappointing as we had now been searching for 5 hours and it was 3.00pm. By pure chance we found the Budget Car Sales yard on the map and decided to have a look. As soon as we stepped out of our car we were greeted by Shelby (or the car goddess, if you’ve had the pleasure of meeting her you’ll understand) who immediately gave us the down low on the types of cars they had, their price ranges and was really helpful with speaking a simplified version of “car” for my mother and I. Shelby took us straight to the Mitsubishi Outlanders and low and behold the first one we looked at was the one for us. It had the right amount of kms, the right price and even had the bells and whistles we had been searching for but couldn’t find at the other places we had been to. Shelby made sure to talk us through all the features and gave us a good run down of the car before we took it for a test drive. One of the things that I loved about this experience was how honest and down to earth Shelby was, I knew that I could trust she wasn’t trying to sell me a piece of junk and new she had my best interests at heart. It felt like dealing with a family member, something personal, which made a world of difference after having been to many car yards where we had just been left to our own devices and were handled with a very nonchalant attitude. It’s the little things right? Needless to say I am one very happy customer, a special shout-out to Chris for taking care of all the paperwork and answering all my calls. We are 2 weeks on and I’m still so excited every time I drive my car, thank you so much Shelby you’re amazing! A+++ would highly recommend Budget Car Sales Ellerslie.
