About Kitchen Mania
Technically our longest serving member of staff, Laura started at Kitchen Mania in her university holidays when we opened in 2009, before graduating with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Forensic Science in 2011. She worked for ESR in the Crime Scene team for 4 years before starting her family. Three children later she returned to the family business where has looked after our rebranding, Marketing and communications. Laura now gets to unleash her creative flair as a member of our Sales and Design team. Laura loves working with clients to transform their space and loves seeing the difference her designs make to her customer's lives.
In her spare time she loves getting out and about exploring with her husband Chris and their kiddies Oscar, Ruby and Archie, and fur baby Oakley.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went through the Avondale Kitchen Mania branch and cannot recomend them enough, we went from an original 80's kitchen (very dated) that was dark, cramped and just plain icky to the modern, light and functional kitchen you see below.
Mark Chatfield was very knowledgable and helpful - to the point he even had the same ideas as we did in the initial conceptual stage (without being briefed prior), whereas the other companies that quoted basically wanted to recreate what we already had! He did a wonderful job in creating a functional space that covered all of our wants and was very patient with our requests and changes along the way.
Everything was completed on time and within budget.
The communication was clear and concise as well as the follow up service (post install) which has been second to none.
Throughout the whole kitchen/dining renovation this has been the most stress free componant of the whole project.
And to think we were going to cancel the whole thing due to covid!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hanna at Kitchen Mania Mt Wellington did a great job turning our kitchen from a separate kitchen and dining room to a bright open plan space that flows well. Hanna recommended we use Martin Barriball as the project manager for the building, plumbing and electrical. We had visitors arriving 32 working days after we placed the order in December so there was no room for delays. On day one when the kitchen was stripped and the wall removed Martyn had 2 builders, 2 electricians and a plumber on the job. The job was done on time and to budget and Martyn and everyone we dealt with from Kitchen Mania communicated clearly and co-ordinated as a team. I do a lot of DIY but am glad I left this complex job to the professionals!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I chose Kitchen Mania as they were next to my daughters work and I seemed to be staring through the window of their Avondale showroom a lot! I have a very high end European kitchen in my apartment and wanted a little room next to it to be converted into a study/skullery. I was so impressed with Kitchen Mania!! They matched the quality and design of the kitchen and every step of the process was amazing. Design, quoting, installation all perfect. What stood out is the guy who took the final measure added a few suggestions which I went with, then the installer Pietro was a craftsman. I thought it was perfect until the “after care” visit from Chris when he came and finessed a few things to make it even better. Absolute attention to detail and excellent customer care the whole way through. Thanks so much!

They gave us a clear, written timeframe of when all the steps in the process happen and what we needed to do.
Everything went smoothly and the whole team were very professional to deal with.
Would definitely recommend these guys

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a couple of years I'm honestly pretty disappointed with my kitchen. I wouldn't recommend this company. attention to detail is fairly lacking and they didn't really listen to us. If you do use them, make sure you go over every single detail after install. I missed something that I only just picked up that I'm not sure can even be rectified now and am pretty disappointed.
