Contactless checkin. Covid sucks!!!. The voice on the other end of the phone belonged to Lynne. She could not gave made of feel more welcome. Was a very warm afternoon and her advice to camp in the shade of the trees was awesome. Very quiet, only one other site occupied. Yee haa, the kids are back at school. Just how I like it. I will stop here again. Thanks

We where here the day the same last two people where here, the last two that left a review, not even a hour in and they both sent bad reviews, I can assure you the toilets where cleaned and clean, here is alot of bush which is great for the native bird life and shelter from the sun,(if need be). Loveliest people and loooove all the animals to feed :)

Toilet block dirty, needed a good hose out, spiders and webs been there q lo g time, shower floors were dirty,we didn't shower, toilets themselves weren't particularly clean, with covid would of thought managers/owners would be more particular. Setting absolutely Beautiful shame facilities let it down

Place was absolutely horrible, it was filthy with dirt, cobwebs and bugs all over walls and in the shower. The appliances have passed their expired warrant date by 6 years, and were faulty with a leaking kettle and a toaster that you had to put your finger inside the machine to make the rack go down, as it had no slider. Along with this, the room was extremely overpriced, we were charged $203 and I would say the room is valued at the max of $90 a night, if that, not to mention we were told at the office the room was $195 and they charged us extra. You had to pay for wifi and the tv was very grainy and low resolution. This is the most terrible room I have stayed in and I recommend you find other accomodation.

Late Review for the Stay in December 2021: (Great if they improved since, but being honest about our experience) Such a terrible campsite!!! what I wanna say is that their website is a total lie! I wonder how they won the awards and recommended by Lonely Planet, seriously? Okay, totally understand the contactless check-in under the current COVID situation, so it's fine that we didn't see anyone at reception when we arrived and when we left. We followed the sign on their reception door directing us (campervan) to go straight to the spot and contact them after set up. we did, and they didn't answer the call, and we texted asking the wifi and hot water shower. After 2 hours, we received the reply asking us to check a website (not working) to find out internet options (definitely not a clear explanation). And one hour later, a text arrived saying "Shower operates with a 50cent coin for 5 mins of hot water". Okay, I got that! wifi and hot water shower are paid to use, which are not included in the staying rates (their campsite rates are not even cheaper compared to others, plus extra charges are applied for amenities)!! Why the information is not mentioned on the website? It will be much more appreciated if the information re. wifi, shower and dumpstation was made clear on booking. Bathrooms? well, spiderwebs and dead bugs everywhere! It seems not been cleaned for a while. Forgot to mention that their facilities are quite dated! The map on their reception door didn't help us to easily find a right spot, as their sites are not numbered and not well organized. This place is the worst campervan site we used so far!! And will definitely avoid it in the future!

Owners made us feel very welcome great customer service. Don’t get excited by the animal park bit, the idea is there but it’s very over grown and not well maintained. The animals are happy but there is no feeding them or getting close, plus there isn’t many, it’s very much an after thought for their own pets/animals. Campsite is good, spaces are large and sheltered with good hard standing and grass. Playground is very disappointing, it resembles a grave yard for old playground equipment, in addition to the old rotting cars and bits of machinery and I don’t mean in a twee way, they are a hazard to children. Didn’t stay in the motel, so can’t comment. Toilets are clean, ladies sinks are beautiful and new, but toilets and showers need upgrading. It’s just OK, but charging high prices (most expensive campsite we stayed in during our month tour) which don’t reflect the quality of the place and to top it off they are charging 50c for a 5 minute shower after I’ve just paid $30pp per night.

Hospitable and friendly hosts, comfy beds, spacious and well equipped. Great views all round, I highly recommend the skyline hike just a 30 minute walk out of town. I stayed with Kiwi park for several days after some personal car trouble outside of town. The hosts were incredibly reassuring, and quickly turned a potential disaster in to a totally stress free surprise vacation. Even going the extra mile to check in and see how the rest of my journey had gone a few days later. 10/10 Thanks Lynn & Brent.
