β β β β β Almost too good to be true! Really lovely friendly staff, affordable prices, central location, good atmosphere, delicious food. You canβt go wrong. Good vegan options (tofu donburi, vege bento box without egg), if youβre vegan just talk to the staff, theyβre very helpful and happy to make swaps where they can. Will definitely be returning soon!

β β β β β The best Japanese restaurant in NZ! Food is so fresh and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I have been back here a few times now and each time Koiya never disappoints! Also price is very good and reasonable. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Generous portions, not expensive ($55> for 2x Bento + Roll - FYI there were 8pcs not 6 as in photo), good taste, fast & nice service.
