About Kraken Crafts
Kraken Crafts started it's journey back in 2015 when i was pregnant with my son. I wanted to create something special and unique for him. As a child my nana created gorgeous colourful blankets for all of her grandchildren. I wanted to pass this tradition down to my child too, and so i picked up a crochet hook and watched a lot of tutorial videos, and i was hooked (wee crochet pun there)
I got interested in the world of Amigurumi, the Japanese art of crocheting small, stuffed yarn animals. I love the simplicity and variations that can be made with different patterns, and enjoy developing my own unique designs.
