★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stood at the counter waiting to be served by the only staff member at the counter who was doing something there but was ignored. It was super awkward. I didn't know whether to say something or wait for her to tell me what's happening (she may have been helping someone else- I don't know). She slammed the bell to get someone else to serve me, she seemed very angry. He was super lovely which made the a lot second experience a lot better but for someone who rarely goes to whitcoulls I don't think I will ever go there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This, is little more than a perfectly functional Whitcoulls - clean, sharp, designed to do a simple purpose - which would normally warrant a higher rating, were it not for the second coming of Christ that is the other Whitcoulls not 100 metres down the way. And how can such a perfectly functional Whitcoulls compare to that? Simple - it can't :/

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had THE BEST time in this store, the staff were all so friendly and helpful! I couldn't find the book I was after, an when said so to one of the ladies, a young guy overhead us and actually found it an brought it over! The man at the counter was just soooo great, so friendly again, an recommended a movie to me about the series of books I had bought, that I didn't know about. Very very good shop an staff. Fantastic. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend everyone else does too ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time I come here the staff give off the rudest vibe. Is it just me? If I'm standing at the checkout is it weird that I expect to be served? The girl today was so rude it's bizarre! I must learn not to go back there unless I want to feel confused and insulted afterwards
