★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I have worked at kumeu boarding kennels for 6 days a week over the last 3 months. I can confirm that all dogs are cared for and looked after to a high standard, well fed with high quality dog food, and have spacious and comfortable sleeping areas. The dogs are taken out for regular exercise throughout the day, either playing in groups with other dogs or playing ball etc, with members of staff.
I would recommend the kennels to my own family and friends, and believe that Beverly and the team provide a great service.
We have a large number of regular customers who bring their dogs every week for day stay care or board on a regular basis for overnight stays, as they know their dog is happy and well cared for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my English Bulldog to Kumeu Kennels after an unhappy experience with another boarding facility in 2003. Beverley and her team at Kumeu Kennels have been looking after our dogs since then and more recently our cat since 2010. Some of our pet's stays have been for up to 5 weeks and it's is wonderful to come home to healthy and happy fur family members. Bev treats our pets as her own and it is always a good sign when they are happy to return to the kennels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at Kumeu Kennels genuinely care and love the dogs. I know Bruno loves going there because he starts jumping around the car with excitement as soon as we pull into the driveway. Bev is very knowledgeable and is always happy to help with any behavior worries. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our 2 dogs have just spent 4 days at Kumeu Boarding Kennels. It is the first time in a long while they have been away from us and we were apprehensive. Beverly and her wonderful staff could not have done more to put us at ease. Showed me around when I got out there and clearly explained how it all worked. The dogs came back clean, happy and relaxed. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I worked at Kumeu boarding kennels for 10 Months when I was visiting beautiful New Zealand. I can tell you with complete honesty, this is by far the best kennels in Auckland! The level of care given to your dog while they're there is magnificent.
I saw rescue dogs having had multiple owners change completely, from being anxious and scared to happy, playful and confident. I saw Puppies bond and grow to be the best of friends.
Many dogs came for a visit In my time there. For a while or for doggy day care. Every single one of them was given an exceptional amount of love and care from the minute they arrived to the minute they left.
This completely secure, gated facility boasts 5 glorious green paddocks for your dogs to have all the exercise they could need.
Yours and your dogs needs couldn't be better met!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay, our Lil girl Soul was a resident of KBK under the care of Bev and her team (Jack especially) for approximately 4-5 months due our housing crisis resulting in pets not being allowed on site. And due to our situation and Soul needing a place to house her Beverly was there to support us and Soul thru our trying time - Bev without your love, support, guidance and care, the stress surrounding our Lil girl and her needs was quite unfathomable however, you put all of our stresses at ease. Visiting Soul and seeing her flourishing, happy, fit and healthy was something a family so needed to see thus our smiles were very wide and joyful. Your team were very aware of her quirks and needs and when we took her out or for the weekend she was well aware of where she was going to and she knew the procedures required of her on our return. We are doing better and Soul is thriving. Apologies for this reviews lateness albeit we as a family including Soul wish to wholeheartedly Thank you personally for all that you did for us especially the speed in which you took Soul on - Soul says woof woof too.
