β β β β β Worst taco Iβve ever had. Bland and dry as a dry thing. Beans tasted like they came straight out of the can and smashed into the taco with zero flavour. Salsa roja was watered down tomato juice. Service was average and we waited an 45 mins. Donβt waste your time or $$

β β β β β EDIT: my initial review hasn't change, the food is still delicious and authentic. They have recently changed their menu, with more options and slightly bigger servings.
So excited to be able to get my favourite tacos now that we are out of lockdown!
I've been craving for asada and carnitas tacos for five weeks, and they tasted even better than I remember!
I've you're after good, juice, delicious tacos with real tortilla (house made with real maize like in Mexico, not the weat tacos you get everywhere else), la Mexicana is the place to go!

β β β β β I don't understand the hype for this place? The food was bland, and the pork in my tacos was dry. No taste of seasoning or flavour at all. It really didn't taste like authentic mexican food, despite the fact that most of the ingredients were made fresh in store. I'm disappointed as I was really excited to try the food from here after reading the good reviews. The staff were very friendly and informative though, but I guess thats my only highlight.

β β β β β Absolutely blown away by the taste of the tacos. Truly cannot compare the fresh hand made tortillas with any pre-made ones. Marco, the owner/manager was a very attentive host and provided good perspective for first time diners. I will definitely be going back for more!

β β β β β Offering an authentic Mexican experience, La Mexicana is a must visit in Milford. With a great range of affordable and delicious tacos, staff are not only very friendly but are avid preachers of true Mexican food. Using locally sourced corn, they process the grains and make fresh tortillas in store!
I was able to enjoy their Birria, Barbacoa and Chorizo Mexicano tacos while sipping on their store madeΒ Horchata which was a drink that is a blend of milk and cinnamon.
Will be definitelyΒ returning for more!
