★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't have a positive experience with this company and won't use them again. They quoted for the job but then put in a cheaper clutch which is really noisy but still charged the same amount. They only got a 2 star because they offered to fix the problem however I didn't take up the offer as it would of cost me more money so I just put up with the problem.

This is second visit to Lamberts. This time I had Erin who really knew his stuff, and got us in on a spur of the moment. He had all the right software, and knew how to use it. Bata boom, bata bang here is your car back. Nice work. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called Lambert's in the morning to see if they could look at my brake pedal which was a bit soft as you pressed down.I was told to come down later that afternoon to the workshop for them have a look at it and they did a very thorough job to find the problem and fixed it as well and offered great service and advice by Adam the workshop foreman with a very good price for repair.
Thanks Lamberts awesome work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I requested a quote to replace my clutch on my Safari. Just short of $1400 I was quoted. Ok.
I called the shop after the quote was given and inquired if they replaced the crank shaft seal gasket. Yes of course I was told.
I was requested to bring my safari to the shop at 8am and keep there till 5pm.
I got there at 8am and left it with them.
At 1.30pm I got a phone call requesting I leave it there for the night.
I informed the mechanic that I needed to go home which is an hours drive away.
Could I get a courtesy car? I assume there was no courtesy car.
By this time (2pm) I got to the shop, the receptionist wasn't aware of the discussion I'd had with the mechanic.
The mechanic had decided to go faster and try finish the job for me but hadn't told me.
I returned at 4.50pm to collect the Safari. The receptionist wanted payment. The Safari was not ready.
I chatted with the mechanic and he told me he was nearly finished.
I paid the bill so the receptionist could go home.
She had increased the bill by $100. This was for the gasket that I'd been informed was part of the original quote. After being told I was lying by the receptionist and her becoming irate, I paid it.
I would like to think that in the price of installing a new clutch that they do not reinstall the old gaskets.
Poor attitude by the receptionist soured the job.
The receipt says "road test vehicle". This did not happen. Once home I got under the Safari and found 3 bolts that were still loose.
A rushed job.
The mechanic informed the holdup was due the workshop engine jack breaking down hence the late finish.
Poor show. First and last time for me.
