★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generous servings and kind staff. Quieter than expected. Plenty of sauces to go with our food options too. Everyone ate well and even had extra to take home with us. Delicious thank you. Will be back for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous weather day, great friendly staff, enjoyed a very nice cappuccino, pie and custard square.. we sat outside on the pavement in the warm spring sunshine but the decor inside is very cosy and inviting in a rustic way .. can recommend ?
Just recently visited late Dec 2021: Great value good portions Great atmosphere and friendly staff, couldn't want for more, however make sure you're really hungry or ask for smaller or half portions especially meals that come with fries

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a pie from the cottage cafe the other day sorry to say it was not close to the usual standard of pie.. it was hard , crunchy and dry .. in all honesty I feel like it was days old .. couldn’t even finish it as it was so dry and hard quality is slipping..!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time to Leeston & stopped for lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed. :)) Lovely friendly staff and great food selection. Also checked vaccination passport on arrival, all good. ✔️ Only qualm was the staff and 2 separate groups of customers we observed were not wearing face masks when arriving, ordering & walking around etc.

Went down the road and had a great breakfast with no vaccine pass required. Second class alright ?
