★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We popped into the Hornby store this morning to purchase a pendant light we saw online. We were the only customers in the store. Two salesmen were on. One was ripping up paper at a desk, the other walked right past us out the door. Neither acknowledged us or even said hello to us. We therefore have gone elsewhere to purchase the light. Extremely poor customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor costumer service, all they care is just to sell items and promise you everything and if there’s anything wrong with the product they wont change it and you have to pay another price for it. Wont recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have experienced very poor customer service from this store in the past, similar to other reviews mentioning they were completely ignored. HOWEVER today we went in to the store and were served by the branch manager Mike, who was fantastic in helping us with our queries and took the time to explain some awesome bulb technology. 10/10 on customer service. Seek him out if you need advice, we were really impressed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought a pendant light from lighting direct which was quite expensive. Once it was delivered I was back in the store and discovered it was on special. I contacted them to see if they would match the special price but they wouldn't. They also will not let me return items after 14 days of purchase (not delivery) I have also been dealing with lighting plus as I am doing a new build requiring a lot of lighting they have been amazing to deal with, returns are absolutely no problem and as we are out of town they have no pressure for returning which is fantastic.. save yourself a headache and go to lighting plus instead!!
