★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here and we loved it. The swimming hole there is awesome for all ages. The water levels cater to all young and old. Bombing off the cliff side into the depths yet close enough to keep an eye on the little ones playing in the shallow water within metres of their supervisors... seriously an awesome spot to hang out with the whanau. Take some shade, food water bbq sports gear and you will have an amazing day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice spot! Kayaked up from the Bay of Islands holiday camp site/park. Took about 35/40min with two young children so we took our time. Great place to take a swim. If you love fresh water holes in nice river locations you'll love this. Room to jump off the small water fall. Provides both deep and shallow areas. There's also plenty of grass space to spread out and relax. Heaps of space! Easy access to water, too. Check it out!
