★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered butter chicken - served with 4 small pieces of diced chicken. Same for the Lamb- 4/5 tiny pieces!!! Never had such experience in any Indian restaurant ever in my life.
First and last visit.
This lamb was 21-22$ something!
Would not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soooo good! My favorite Indian food in Dunedin. I love that they offer cauliflower rice and the curry is always consistent. Absolutely beautiful hot and fresh food. Fabulous customer service and always friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time big booking of 40 people and will be last too. Didn't get everything on fixed price what we were promised. Most of our guest left without starters n dessert. There was not one staff who took care of our group. My hubby had to run and keep asking for everything. Poor service. Lastly we were over charged. After contacting the owner he was so rude and didn'twant to listen. Anyway money was secondry but being host our guests left empty stomach. Our own cake was more of our dessert. This can keep going on and on. My husband and other his friends are from hospitality industry but this was our worst experience as per them. Never going back there.i wouldn't recommend anyone to have any kind of function over there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group had a great time at Little India. We ordered mostly Vegetarian/Vegan meals. The curries were top standard, naan was delicious and the service was so helpful and friendly. Would love to return when back in Dunedin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing food, polite and efficient service. Pleasant and refined decor and ambiance. Repeat visits a must, and if you over order just ask for a take-away box. Reheated curry tastes almost as good the following day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slightly overpriced compared to other Indian restaurants in town, but great ambience, friendly staff and the onion bhaji starter I tried was yum! We walked in a little before closing time but they were really kind and let us dine in anyways, which was big brownie points.. very clear menu with regard to allergens.. lots of vegan and gluten free options.. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little India Dunedin has fast become my favourite Indian restaurant in Dunedin. My partner and I started regularly eating here several months ago and love their curries and starters. Their food is beautifully made. Both their vegetarian and meat based dishes are flavourful, often fragrant with spices. Their meat dishes are succulent, generous and tender. Their staff are excellent and make us feel very welcome and appreciated. The venue itself has tasteful warm decor and is always welcoming, which is why we love to eat in.
