★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible! I ordered my food an hour in advance and was still left waiting for an hour and a half after my order was supposed to be ready!
During level 3 they had no attempt at maintaining social distancing or safe practice.The shop was crowded and there was no information about how we were supposed to pick up our orders.
When we eventually got our food it tasted more like a slightly spiced tomato soup than curry. The naan was basically soft cardboard. Overall, I was very disappointed.

Was amazed at how much naan I got and a decent amount of rice also. The butter chicken was very nice and for just $10 it’s astonishing value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent. Compared with restaurants in ChristChurch i just ate, Taj Mahal has competent price of less than 60%, and you can exchange partial rice with naan if you order 3 mains ( less than $40). Appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food took 2+ hours, terrible customer service. Wrong meal when was delivered. Tables which came later was served way earlier than us - was ignored throughout night. Fragmented service and honestly felt ignored throughout. The kicker - they ran out of Butter Chicken and told us once we had our menus for 30+ minutes. Wont be coming here again, not recommended. As a customer service worker, I expect more. Had higher hopes for a place that is centrally located.
