★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge park for events of all sorts. Best to go early to get some shade or take a tent or similar to make your own as the day we went it was so sunny and under the trees had already been taken so we roasted in the hot sun ... handy to Little River township for coffee,icecreams etc

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great amenities for a rural domain, also very tidy and well kept. You'll often see vintage car and bike rallies using the LR domain during summer months. Oh, also has mint tennis courts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Banks Penninsula A and P Show is held in Little River Domain each summer. The domain is on the edge of the small settlement, next to the school, on the road to Akaroa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was there for the Little River Giant pumpkin festival 18 April 2021. It was so nice and enjoyable. Live Band was there and running races and LRS Students perfom Kapa Haka and lots of food and hand crafted stuff. Very recommend for parents with children. It was a lots of fun for kids.
