Just before liverpool hut, you'l need to survive a steep climb up to the hut. one your there you will be rewarded with a cozy hut, there can stay8 people has fresh water and there is a toilet. But of course the best part of being there are the kea's, when we were there were 6 of them they will come and sit next to you on the little porch, watch out they will try and steal your food, and try to lock you in on the toilet.

Incredible place! One of the best hike of my life. Just coming from this place today, the first part of the track isn't so hard, mostly glat walking though beautiful landscape beside the river. The las part is a steep walk/climb for around 2 hours dependig if you have a backpack or not, you need a good fitness level but when you arrive at the hut the view is incredible, totally worth the walk there.

Wonderful hike to the hut, wonderful view, the hut is new and has all the basics. Can be busy, not a lot of mattresses (12). A lot of keas are there, be careful not to let tour stuff outside ?. Definitely a very good hiking choice

Beautiful panorama around this cute little hut. The hut itself is small (10 people) bit we'll organized with a kitchen section, table and beds section. You'll need to book it in advance as it is the rule for this hut. The way to get there is not the easiest : Count around 6-7H with around 3H to Aspiring Hut, then 1H or so continuing going up the valley, and 2H for the last km (500m elevation) including nice scrambling and huge steps. You want to be in good shape for that last section. Actually just for that section I would advise you to get bags as small as possible (you still need to carry a sleeping bag and any foof-related stuff) so not only going up but also going down will be easier. Anyways the sunset and sunrise there are wonderful, either from the hut itself or from the 360 view or the hill ;)
