★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived here after biking over the Rimutakas to stay 1 night before cycling out to Cape Palliser, it was easy to find, extremely clean roomy and tidy and the host was super friendly and helpful. We were 2 couples so rented both units. You would be very comfortable in either unit, both thoughtfully set up with anything you require, nicely furnished and plenty of parking. Both units have an outdoor area and both also have a covered outdoor area too. A really quiet place to stay. You need to take all food items with you as there is nothing apart from a general store about 5 kms away and the hotel isn’t always open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic spot. Lovely clean and well appointed bach. Beautiful little garden with a picnic table to use as well. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend and will be sure to stay again when I am down that way

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful setting, secluded and private, just off the road into Lake Ferry settlement.
The bach is very well appointed as well as clean and very cosy. Beyond the communal drive, as there is a second bach, is a delightful garden with a picnic table.
It's a 5 minute walk to Lake Ferry Hotel and a further 5 minutes onto the beach. This beach is not suitable for swimming. However fishing is very popular.
