Massive inside, full of friendly staff. Huge selection and super easy parking. I can't believe I didn't know of this place years ago. We had a car load of helium balloons and 21st banners. Easy to order in advance too. Thank you.

Shopping in particular for helium-filled number balloons for a birthday as requested by the birthday girl (for the last three years, and I finally acquiesced). Ordered in advance due to Covid although there was no need to as the shop was well supplied with not only a range of balloons but every type of party item you could imagine - I couldn't let myself look around or I would have come home with masses of stuff, so I stood at the helium counter watching the guy fill the balloons and asking difficult questions about the ingredients which he patiently answered. Foil number balloons were surprisingly big - I'd say about a metre tall - and looked awesome, especially when attached to the foil-covered weights with ribbon - each number balloon is from memory $5 and helium is extra $10, weights are $2. I also bought a pack of 10 standard 'Happy Birthday' balloons for $2 and got them all filled with helium for $2 each. The staff were very good and took the time to make sure it looked good. When I was carrying them out the ribbon on one of the weights broke and they patiently rethreaded it all for me on a new weight. The young people loved the balloons and thought they looked awesome. I had asked at the shop how long they would last and was told two days for the foil number balloons and one day for the standard balloons. Unfortunately within an hour one number balloon was visibly going flat, and within four hours was nearly touching the floor. The other number balloon lasted longer but within 12 hours was pretty flat. The standard (round) balloons lasted 24 hours, as promised. I will say, this is Wellington, and it was a day with gale force winds, and although I parked the car close to the shop (it is in the Warehouse complex on Tory St so there is usually ample parking) the wind no doubt buffetted the balloons while I was struggling to put them in the car, and perhaps caused the seams on the balloons to be weakened. Would I go back for another birthday? I would definitely shop here again for any party supplies - the range and prices are really good, and the staff seem competent and helpful. I would not buy the foil number balloons again as they are not good value, but I would buy the standard helium balloons again because they lasted longer and looked really good - made the room look amazing.

I am very disappointed to see racist costumes - such as Native American headdresses, 'Mexican' and 'Sheik' costumes - being displayed and sold in your stores. Not only are these immensely culturally insensitive, they disrespect the rich and diverse nature of Native American, Mexican and Middle Eastern cultures by perpetuating over-simplified racist caricatures of real people. This is deeply dehumanising, and only serves to reinforce harmful stereotypes towards the people of the communities you are misrepresenting. These are cultures, not costumes, and I expect better of any and all businesses operating in this day and age of abundant information. I will not be purchasing from your store again until I see impactful change.

she didn't want to except my refund even tho my costume wasn't opened or damaged she gave me attitude the staff there are unreal.she was very rude to you and what is the point of saying refund if u don't refund.

Among the best dollar shops I've been to in Wellington. Good range of baking and food storage items. Lots of Halloween/Christmas costumes.

I actually do have criticism:- your lack of shop front and advertising. You’re a hidden gem. My mind was absolutely blown away! You are the most incredible store in Wellington. You’re my favorite shop ever! And your store just keeps going and going. It’s massive, jaw-dropping and everything is so affordable. Hi, I’m Maree and I’m your new regular. When I’m not shopping in your store, I’ll be busy singing your praises. Hey, my son’s friends loved the life-like cockroaches and spiders in their party bags. You sell the coolest stuff.

THE BEST shop for affordable dress up and party needs! These guys literally have everything. Attended a rodeo disco party which I needed a last minute outfit for and they had everything and more. Had so much fun shopping and can't wait to visit again.
