β β β β β Extremely rude staff at the balloon/rental counter. Two girls were there yet none of them were helpful and extremely rude when I asked for help while enquiring about their rental properties. Went to pick up the backdrop and was not told about how to assemble even on aksing multiple times nor was I given an instruction manual. It was a nightmare to assemble the piece as it didnt stay still and I had to run errands to buy ropes to keep the two pieces together, not ideal for a hectic event day. Also, the backdrop acrylic was chipped at the bottom with very oily surface. During return when I asked why wasn't I told about stuff needed to assemble the backdrop the girl was super rude and basically made me feel stupid for not knowing how to assemble by saying "everyone knows how to do it, it's not that difficult and not my job to tell"
I also complained about why was I charged in full and not told about the broken backdrop before collection when I booked it in advance ( 1 week prior to the date) to which the girl said "we didn't force you to take it you saw it when you collected it and should have canceled it on the day" I don't understand how they expect us to cancel our rental on the day of our event. The Wellington store staff is okay but Porirua store's staff is utterly disappointing and rude. Clearly hate their job and don't care about the company's reputation...

β β β β β First time checking out the place. It was amazing. Ended up buying stuff which are useful too like placemats and beautiful rainbow ? Duster. So cheap and completely worth it.. Staff were very helpful to what I wanted. A very large collection of doormats, costumes & kids stuff. Will surely try to go again. ???
