The worst experience ever. I bought in a dress,shirt and skirt in to be altered. I payed $120 for all 3 items to be taken in. They completely ruined all 3 items. My dress is beyond repair and I have to take my shirt elsewhere to fix there mess they made and my skirt looks an odd shape now. Instead of giving my money back they tried to fix my garments but they couldn’t as they were beyond repair. My beautiful 70s vintage dress is now ruined. These people have no idea about construction. I’m am so upset. Never ever will I go back to them. Best to go elsewhere and pay that little bit more (even though they were still pricy) and get a decent job done. One of the ladies there was so lovely but apart from that. Terrible experience.

Not a very pleasant customer service. The lady was not allowing me to talk and acting pretty annoyed. She kept interrupting me all the time from the very moment we started talking with a tendency to show herself annoyed at me for unknown reasons. I felt unwelcome and really uncomfortable so I just decided to go to some other branch, maybe for the best, considering some of the harrowing stories described by other customers.

Brought in a pair of jeans to be altered and they were taken up to much. The lady dealing with my complaint phoned her manager and took me to the store and purchased a new pair and then took them up for me straight away. Problem was taken care of within 25 mins. Appreciate her customer service and how she dealt with the situation. Good on her

I brought a pair of jeans to be shortened and picked them up an hour later. After bringing them home I discovered they were two sizes too big (yes, I should have checked at the store but it didn't occur to me). I drove back to the store only to be told that it her fault if the sizes were different, that it was the only pair of black jeans that they'd processed that day, and I had probably been given the wrong size at the store even though I had tried them on for her to see how much needed to be taken off. She was rude, confrontational and very defensive. She told me to go back to the store I'd bought the jeans and because it was probably their fault. I did and the jeans store was so lovely! They apologized and offered a refund. One of the jeans store's employees even went to the alternation shop themselves. He came back with my jeans in the correct size which had been shortened. The woman at the alternation place was apparently rude to him as well and refused to apologize for her mistake. I admit, I should have checked the jeans after collecting them but I don't think that anything excuses the awful response I got. Also, the jeans were at least an inch longer than I had asked for.

My fiancé, Sarah took her new $150 Kookai dress pants to be altered by Looksmart Alterations, Sylvia Park. She was told they would be ready for pickup anytime Monday. She returned on Monday evening to collect them. The employee, Sabina said she could not find them. They both had to go out the rear of the store to locate the pants. Once found they were not altered. Sabina asked if Sarah could wait while the pants were quickly altered. The first attempt by Sabina was horrific. Very rushed, uneven and a completely different thread colour to the material of the pants. The second attempt was even worse. Sarah asked for Sabina to just stop her poor attempt and return the pants to her. She refused to refund the alteration charge and would not accept responsibility for the low quality and rushed workmanship. To make it worse Sabina also put a small hole in the pants, just above the hem from rough handling and rushing the alteration. Overall a very disappointing customer experience and not only are we out of pocket for the $150 pants, but also the $23.90 alteration charge. Please be careful before trusting this company with your clothing. See the attached photos

I had my trousers taken up too far the first time I went here. I took them back to see what they could do. I was not disappointed with the final result. People are saying the Indian lady at the sylvia park store is rude, but she was very professional with me. I understand people may be in a rush, but with this current situation we're in, we have to be understanding with each other. Cheers team!

First of all, it took a very long time for someone to come to the counter, after I rang the bell , and rang the bell. I asked the man if he can help patch a hole in linen shorts. I was told I had to go to Spotlight buy a patch and they could stich that for me. Next day, I went to looksmart New Market, and had my shorts beautifully fixed , without me having to go and buy a patch. I would rather travel to New Market and get great service than deal with the uninterested shop in Sylvia park.

I went in to enquire regarding getting my pants altered on the day I was quoted a price however due to timing I did not go ahead with the service. After a few days later I went back into the shop to proceed with the service discussed earlier but at this time I was charged at a different rate. The pricing was more than what I was told for the exact same thing. I was confused and was frustrated as to why there was no consistency.
