★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and the hair stylists are experienced. Personally I always prefer my hair to be done by Christina. She is just fabulous. She knows what she is doing and does an amazing job. This place is about 35 kms from my place but would rather travel to get satisfactory service rather trying new ones around. Keep up the good work.

I waited almost about 1 hour than can a lady and said sorry we got busy I had my appointment done 2 weeks ago
This is such a bad service when I made appointment I did tell them earlier, full head balayage such a high price quoted $558
Ripping customers off !
I did not get my hair done they told me that they were unsure if the colour would come right
Unprofessional ! If you are unsure then you please don’t spoil any clients hair already google review bad service
Rubbish I would openly say to everyone please don’t have your hair done in Sylvia park
I guess the stylist never knew anything all staff are-hopeless

She gave me some great advice and recommended products for me to use to get my hair where it needs to be before we go lightening it. So grateful. ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not one to post reviews. But with an experience as good as mine was at Vivo Sylvia Park, I have too.
I was booked in for the New Client Colour & Cut Package with Poalee. I’ve never coloured my hair before, and I’ve also never had good experiences in hair salons. I have very thick (island) hair and every stylist I’ve gone to in the past has said “you have sooo much hair” - Poalee didn’t. She took my hair and she did an amazing job. I was super comfortable, and I am happy with the result - no freak outs here!
I didn’t catch the name of the other stylist who jumped in to help with my hair towards the end (lol). But thank you to her as well. Will definitely be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been to Vivo before but not Sylvia Park. I'm always anxious about having someone new touch my hair because I've had people ruin my hair before. Firstly, I was charged $65 in another branch for a dry cut (because I didn't want a wash and blow dry), but at Sylvia Park, they charged me $79 which includes a wash and blow dry, which I didn't want but their system doesn't have any option for a dry cut. Secondly, it was a simple cut, nothing too crazy. I just wanted the same style (straight cut) but shorter (uploaded before pic). My left and right were uneven and when I brought it up to the hairdresser, it didn't seem to resolve it so I thought I'd just trim it myself when I got home. When I got home, I noticed the back was uneven, and just not how I wanted it - it's not even straight.. I mean, $79 to cut off 10cm of hair and some face framing pieces doesn't sound like a difficult job for a hairdresser.. I just don't think this was worth $79..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently had a balayage done at Vivo Sylvia Park and will never ever go back again! As you can see from the photos, the image with the VIVO logo at the bottom is the colour I asked for and I even showed this to my hairstylist (this image is from VIVO's facebook page). The second image is what my balayage ended up looking like... a complete disaster and total waste of my time and money. My hair had way too much bleach put in it and there are parts that are essentially blonde!! My hairstylist offered to tone my hair again however this was going to be at my own cost, and considering I had been sitting there for 4 hours already... I just wanted to leave so badly. Thanks to you VIVO, I've spent another 1.5 hours today getting the colour of my hair corrected at another hair salon and I will not ever be coming back to you again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally got the haircut been wanting for years! I booked at the last minute and the salon made space for me. I think I had Nadine (Saturday afternoon) and she was honestly amazing. When I got a call and had to leave soon she didnt skip a step but ensured I was out earlier. Love the cut and information she gave me about my hair. 100% will keep coming back now that Ive finally found a hairdresser who can do my hair.
