★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I go here all the time to shop and never had an issue before, except for today when we went in bought a rotti pot and got home and found out it was already broken even tho it was in a box. We went back to ask for an exchange but the guy that we spoke with was really unprofessional and rude. We didn’t even get to finish our query before he cut us off and said “come tomorrow” with a really loud tone. The ladies were really nice and professional however the guy sounded like he just arrived in New Zealand with the accent and the rude attitude.
If you’re going to be working customer service, at least smile and take the time to listen. I know you’re busy but your customers are customers.
You’re not only ugly but that attitude was disgusting. Show some empathy and be kind it doesn’t cost anything to be kind and be nice.
I am really disappointed with the service today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ on 27/04/22 I visited this store at 1157Hrs & inquired in Hindi from the check out counter female staff Navdeep if they had Raw peanut she answered me back in English I then asked her if she spoke Hindi because I have been in NZ for over 30yrs & don't like to forget our roots she said she did but still replied in English I then asked her to call her manager whom she called but he just looked as one who was restocking stuff he had the same attitude & spoke in English Visiting an Indian grocery store you would expect the staff to converse in Hindi with an Indian being proud of our mother tongue but the staff at this store kind of have an attitude as if they know English better & I bet she has only been in the country not more than a couple of yrs I must commend though a Nepali lady who takes pleasure in helping all the customers in Hindi & help find any thing you ask her ,Another thing if they are running an Indian grocery store they must be well groomed in Uniform I will be recommending Auckland Council to pay a visit to this store soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very clean. They mainly have north indian items. Thry should bring in more south indian products. The spices are all mixed up and not very organised. Very hard to find parking in weekends and peak hours. Fruits are the worst. They are cheap but looks like they are selling the fruits that are rejected by countdowns and new worlds. Customer service needs to be improved. Some are friendly and some are not.
