★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yum Cha is the Cantonese tradition of brunch involving Chinese tea and dim sum & it loosely translates to "drink tea". Getting among the organised chaos of yum cha is one of my favourite weekend activities ? and there are plenty of great yum cha restaurants in Auckland. Recently visited Lucky Fortune in Three Kings with family and it is now one of my top 3 yum cha destinations❣️
It is a restaurant of huge capacity and has a massive selection of delicious dim sum for you to gorge upon. The service was great, plenty of pushable trolleys roaming around the restaurant during peak hours & everything came out piping hot and super delicious. The steamed dumplings are enormous in size – you will probably be full after having 3 of them?. The prawn toast is my brother’s favourite – the crunch of biting through the crisp fried bread base and savouring the juicy prawn topping, truly scrumptious??...
If you are looking for a buffet that comes to you, check out this place?. FYI – it is also voted one of the best yum cha in Auckland by the Urban List❗️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bro I love this resturant sm just take all of my money i am so madly in love with your foods especially your sweet and sour pork. Literal heaven in my mouth lord jesus have mercy on my soul I've reached nirvana. Super kind and funny staff as well, she took my plate back to add more sauce into it. An angel amongst Auckland Heaven. They give such a large amount of portion size and is worth every change I have. Every night i dream of eating those delicious sweet and sour pork. I count down the days until I enter Lucky fortune restuarant once more. This is the best yum cha I’ve ever eaten at
Is this what true happiness is?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food. Great service. However, due to the popularity, you are likely have to wait when you arrive. If you don't mind shared table, the wait is shorter. Also, they charge extra during the public holidays.
The food: every now and then, the beef tendons are not fully cooked. They can become very hard to chew when they are not properly cooked which is really annoying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is now my favourite place to do yum cha in Auckland! Great service and reasonably priced. Food is delicious and they were pretty flexible on timing - well we didn't get told that our time was up. Can't wait to go here again! Update: I've been here a couple more times and still like it (yay).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had brunch here today. As it’s Known as one of best yamcha restaurants in the city it was almost fully packed. Very clamorous atmosphere but pleasurable to join. Complementary Chinese tea served and soy sauce & chilli oil ready for self- service at the counter. We didn’t know which was which but their food was delectable. Tried eight different dishes. Prawn & coriander dumplings and radish cakes were I enjoyed most. Definitely will go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good. I really liked the malai, such a good dessert to finish off with. The Siu Mai was really nice too, the shiitake flavour really comes through.
One thing that bothers me about yum cha is when dishes aren’t hot... perhaps that’s unavoidable as they can be sitting on the trolley for a bit. But I had a couple of cold dishes that just bought the overall meal down a notch. But still really tasty food and would come here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a beautiful dinner to celebrate family time pre Chinese new year. Food is wonderful but MSG can be omitted. Superb food presentation. It's always busy here so booking is recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been to this restaurant many times for yum cha and dinner. It's a big restaurant, spacious and comfortable sittings. It's pleasantly decorated and the service is friendly and prompt. The food is tasty and the portion is reasonable. There are plenty of parking. If you like yum cha and fancy Cantonese dishes don't miss this place. Recommended
