β β β β β We always get our work done here but the other day our boot latched failed on our vw wagon, full of stuff with two young children to pick up later we couldnβt drive it far or lock it and the interior lights were draining the battery, Maidstone were able to source a lock and quickly change it out on the day! Totally understood our situation and came to the rescue, thanks guys.

β β β β β Amazing Professional Service! Took my car in barely running. Fixed a major repair and went the extra mile and got worn tyres replaced as well. Cars runs like a dream. Saved me time and money! Can't thank them enough!

β β β β β Lovely staff + exceptional service and work!! My headlight and wingmirror needed attention - the staff were so great and quick to fix everything. They explain the cost before anything to make sure you're happy which is so great if you're someone like me and don't understand a thing about cars! Would highly recommend this awesome place.

β β β β β Rang up and explained I had an issue and wanted a diagnostic done on my car. The guy was really pleasant and told me to bring it in next day. Scheduled time off to take it in, got there and was told it was probably best to take it down the road (without even doing a diagnostic)

β β β β β No problem with the work, but charged more than $400 just for the part for a Toyota Corolla wheel bearing. They explained that it was an unusual model and they ordered the wrong one initially. This seemed quite expensive but I accepted the explanation.
Next time I went to book the car in for work I purchased the required part in advance so it would definitely be correct. However they told me they weren't interested in repairing the car, said they would not fit parts supplied by customers, and didn't need the work. I figured the only reason for this would be that they are making a big mark-up on supplied parts so did a quick check on the retail price of the bearing for the earlier job. This averaged $170 at several suppliers (and they would have got it for less at trade pricing), so my hunch was right - they probably made more than $300 profit on the bearing?
