★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wooow where to begin... Great music playing, your staff pleasant and professional. The food was fine done quality at a very reasonable price. My beer frosted glass and perfectly poured, scenic atmosphere almost as if your having dinner at a friend's house in the backyard. I enjoyed every minute I spent here! Thank you Malt Public House.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saturday happy hour plus BOGO pizza - you can’t beat the deal, and the pizza is fantastic! Staff were also attentive when needed and genuinely friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go upstairs to get views of Rangitoto. Food was excellent but when we got there the kitchen didn't open till 5pm. It may open for lunch then close and reopen. Before then it's hot chips.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We Had a Surprise 40th Birthday over the weekend in the court yard. Our guests loved the Venue, great food, friendly staff, positive vibes. Ash and Danny were our amazing hosts who went beyond for us. My Fams Especially loved Ash who was very attentive and looked after everyone throughout the night. Thank you for an amazing & memorable time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had my brothers surprise 40th at Malt and it was amazing!! Food was great, our set up was outside and it was really nice. Shout out to our waiter Ash who did a stunning job getting all of our drink orders and making us laugh. We'll be back for sure :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken wings are delicious and the Friday 50c deal is great. Their Guinness is decent but sometimes poured with too big of a head and with bubbles but generally it’s fine. The atmosphere is always good and staff are friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is great to have Malt as my local, it is a relaxed and friendly place with different options for dining including a great back courtyard. Staff are welcoming and on to it, good table service too even if you are just popping in for a drink. Wines available in large or small pours which is fun, also some nice cocktails if you feel like a treat - they make an excellent rum espresso martini. Usually we will just get a mixture of the snack type dishes, they are always tasty, come out fast, and good value for money. Thanks for being so consistent over the years Malt!
