★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful spot. The water is so.. cold, clear & clean. There is a big covered area with seating & tables & also a few good big trees offering shade on a sunny day. The river is filled with river stones & is shallow in a lot of places, but be careful as the current is quite strong. There is also a little fire pit there which could be used to roast marshmallows or bbq food if you have yr own hot plate. Looking forward to visiting this place more over summer?☀

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The driveway/road to mangamate falls is directly off of Minginui road on the right not long before getting to Minginui, (Google maps takes you to doc campsite)
Once you turn onto the road it's gravel road all the way to parking area. There are lots of tables around the whole area a sheltered area with fireplace, you're allowed to camp there as well. The waterfall is right next to parking area and can see it from car
