★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the ambience. Great fire place, sofas,space,food ,gnt's. Friendly staff. Two absolute downsides...no tea or coffee making facilities in room nor the ability to make one -a set up in hall or lobby would have sufficed. The other ...no guest key to re-enter before 3pm. Other than that we had a fabulous stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The situation and its history made it a great stop. It could have has a table in the room for the tea making facilities as making a warm drink is a necessity in such a climate. The food was awesome even though it was a set menu. It was at the top of the range cost wise though. A bit expensive.

Even on night 3, you pulled something special out of the bag for our dinner, and it was amazing. Loved my three nights at the hotel, and will definitely be re-booking. You are both part of the family now :-)

The atmosphere & warm welcome were great & we had a lovely meal. The Staff are engaging, friendly & so hard working. Our room in the Hotel was cute & cosy. Highly recommend a visit to Danseys Pass Hotel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "The Danseys Pass Hotel/Lodge is one of the best places I’ve ever had the privilege of staying at. The Hotel/Lodge is set in a beautiful private location, with gorgeous 1860 style buildings with rustic charm. It only gets more breathtaking when you walk inside. Beside the dining room, there is a bar and cozy lounge with comfortable couches and a roaring fire. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting.
Our room was clean, very comfortable and the staff were amazing! Thank you to our hosts Phil and Rita who went over and above to help make our stay enjoyable. All the staff were delightful and eager to help!
The food at Danseys Pass Hotel/Lodge is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared. You can choose among many menu options and the menus change daily.
I highly recommend this venue for any type of occasion. You wont be disappointed!"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phillip and Rita are fantastic hosts. The fire and food are perfect for cool winters. The room was lovely and clean. We didn’t have to share a bathroom in the lodge, which I was pleased about. A really enjoyable mini-break. A place to soak was all that was missing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had such a lovely time at this hotel. Gorgeous bar with a huge wood fire with cosy couches all around it. Fire roared the whole evening. Loved the decor in this place, polished wood, old fashioned carpets, real country comfort. Staff were all friendly and welcoming even though we were part of a large party that must have kept them pretty busy. We arrived on a chilly day to find they had put the radiator on in our room a couple of hours in advance of check-in so we could settle right in to a nice warm room. They were absolutely lovely to us throughout our stay, even managing to accommodate all my weird dietary requirements at dinner and breakfast. Will definitely be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a charming, secluded country hotel getaway! Rita and Philip made us very welcome and went out of their way to make our stay special!! What a great place to relax with friends. Huge roaring fire, great food and drinks. Our rooms were comfortable and charming! We stayed in the Lodge which was private and peaceful. We will definitely be back! Thank you Rita and Philip!
