★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, considering the price is around Lanarch Castle territory the service and facilities should be up to par but it's not. It also feels like the staff is torn between running the restaurant and the lodge with the restaurant having priority. There are other places to stay in Ranfurly which is about 12 minutes away but I do not know how those places compare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great stay at Naseby Lodge. The 2 bedroom unit has loads of room. We had 4 adults and 2 children. Nice and warm, everything you need and an easy 3 minute walk down to the Royal Hotel for good food. Great shower pressure with heated tile flooring in the bathroom. Highly recommend.
