★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were in the Rimu room and it was quiet and extremely comfortable. Breakfast is of a very high standard and will set you up for a good days activities in the local area. The lovely host got up early to farewell me as I raced back to the airport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect location for a stay in Wanaka. Tea and coffee facilities were available. Bernie and Paul were absolutely wonderful assets with their local knowledge and willingness to have a chat in the evenings or over breakfast. Paul and Bernie have great local knowledge and arranged various bookings for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our room was nice with a small balcony overlooking the view. After a bit of a chat we went to our room and found the most comfortable bed we have had on this trip. Highly recommend this place if you don't want to get caught in the tourist traps in the city centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Maple Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. Our hosts were pleasant and full of helpful information about restaurants and attractions in the area and ***** our route to our next destination. Our room was spotlessly clean. Short drive to Wanaka nice and close but a very quiet location nice and relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paul and Bernie were very welcoming of us from the moment we arrived. It is a lodge so you will be staying with other guests and the hosts, Paul and Bernie, have a separate living quarters on the property. Wanaka is a beautiful region and plenty to see and do in the main strip. Bernie was helpful with suggestions on where to eat and things to do nearby. Our room had floor to ceiling sliding door windows with views of the mountains in the background. Very nice place to stay and hosts offered us a cooked breakfast in the morning. Regrettably, we only stayed one night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location a few minutes drive from Wanaka. The lodge is set in its own private grounds with beautiful views over to the mountains and the whole place just makes you want to slow down a gear and take in the beauty of Wanaka and the surrounding area. Thanks Paul and Berny for a really great stay might see you again next ski season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful BnB close to the town of Wanaka. We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon and were very impressed. The hot-tub outside is a very nice feature, and the breakfast is excellent. I had eggs Benedict both days, and it was delicious. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We highly recommend staying here if you stop in Wanaka!
