β β β β β Went here for mother's day. Food and coffee was amazing with quality service despite being packed. Staff were friendly and all had a sense of humor. Prices are amazing for the high quality and potion size, anything in the cbd would be 10 to 15 more a plate. Many great items on the menu to the point we had trouble deciding which dish to have. We are new to Auckland and like looking around but this will definitely be a regular stop.

β β β β β Visited today for the first time and it didn't disappoint. Food was delicious and served up in good time. We ordered the Marua big breakfast and the Salmon eggs benedict with potato rosti. The coffee was top notch and the right temperature. The latte art makes it extra special. Service was excellent and staff are friendly

β β β β β Lovely staff and a decent cafe with good menu choices and good pricing. The coffee was perfectly hot & strong. Ordered the Portobello Rosti Stack which was a generous-sized meal and the fries were hot & crunchy. Parking can be difficult as only a handful of allocated parks onsite and being in a commercial area, parking on Marua Rd can be very busy during weekdays.

β β β β β Amazing coffee, amazing food, amazing owner even got my name written in the latte!! Staff attentive and friendly, a rare trait in modern hospo.
Had the lamb curry, so tender and full of flavour, will be back for the steak sandwich!!
If you haven't tried this place, your missing out, a true gem

β β β β β Nice cafe in Mt Wellington industrial area. Went at 8:15 cafe was slow to start (waited 30mins for first 2 dishes and pancakes came later).
Drinks: were basic as coffee the bear was a nice touch.
Big breakfast: was good, not wowing. Bread was a bit hard and dry and bacon was American style crispy. Everything else was good.
Salmon Rosti: very good. Nice flavours and textures. Would like to see better green sides.
Carrot pancake: also very good. Thick, hot, moist, flavour combinations amazing. Only issue is the price with what you get.

β β β β β Food and coffee were presented really nicely. The service was excellent and very very attentive to us and all the tables. Had the smoked salmon rosti stack and my partner had the fried chicken Beni both were very good.

β β β β β Been wanting to try this since I moved to AKL in Nov2020. It's a nice, somewhat busy cafe for a Saturday late lunch.
Latte was excellent, and the coffee art, surreal!
Chicken n Waffles, was just OK. I feel the waffle is store bought, and not freshly made. Tastes similar to the waffle I buy at Countdown. Don't get me wrong, it still tastes good. But just have this feeling, by experience, it isn't fresh off a waffle maker. I could be wrong. The chicken had a bit of cumin taste to it, not such a fan. Perhaps since most of the staff seemed to be of Indian origin, they really add this, dunno? Friendly staff. Overall, still good for me!
